Miki Ishizaka

Miki Ishizaka is a teacher and performer in her homeland Japan and is an established member of Creation Global’s international teaching crew and the current President of Creation Japan.   

She has traveled the world teaching Chicago Footwork and its culture from coast to coast in the U.S., London to Amsterdam in Europe, and has also taught in Brazil and South Korea. Her Chicago Footwork spans to the international scene including performances at Dubai’s Fashion Festival, ‘Sole DXB’ for ASICS.    

 

Creation Global is an international Chicago Footwork dance crew with over 80 members worldwide. Our crew is dedicated to the performance and preservation of Chicago-based African-American art forms, development of the next generation of leaders and artists, and building global connections to strengthen our multicultural movement. Creation Global teaching artists serve as cultural ambassadors for Chicago dance and music, uplifting and unifying artists globally through positive educational experiences. 

 

Also, MIKI  is one of the co-founder of  ‘Chicago Footworkology’  is an online camp founded and created to bring together the people who are in the Chicago Footwork community and beyond, and we strive to make our camp as widely accessible to all parts of the globe. And us here at CFology firmly believe that being part of this community, having a place to communicate your passions, and to simply enjoy a moment to dance can help uplift someone struggling to get through their day.
